Welcome to YMCA BC
As we turned the calendar to a new year, we also have turned a milestone page in our history. Starting January 3, 2023, YMCA of Northern British Columbia, YMCA-YWCA of Kamloops and YMCA of Greater Vancouver are officially one association, with one mission: to strengthen our impact for communities across British Columbia. We are YMCA BC.
This transition marks a new chapter in our long-standing history of building communities, transforming lives, and connecting people of all ages, stages, backgrounds and abilities, to unique opportunities to learn, grow and reach their potential.
Together, with staff, donors and partners, we will build on our commitment to serve the members, participants and communities we all care so much about.
As part of celebrating this transition and exploring how we can do more together, we are looking forward to engaging in special events, announcements and other initiatives all across BC, together with YMCA leaders and supporters like you. Stay tuned for invitations to local events and opportunities throughout 2023 to continue to engage in your community with YMCA BC. We can’t wait to see what’s next.
